Therapeutic experience

Judith Forrest MSc, MA, Dip CG

Judith is a CBT therapist working from a compassion-focused modality and is a Trustee of the Compassionate Mind Foundation.

After completing her MSc in 2011, she worked in HMP/YOI Swinfen Hall, where she established what was then known as an IAPT service, and later worked in the community. Since retiring from the NHS in 2018, Judith has maintained a small private practice and has accepted referrals from StopSO since 2017.

Creative & lived experience

Adam Founder and resource designer

Adam is an expert by experience, a former technology teacher and a neurodiverse father of four neurodiverse children. He brings creativity, practical skill and a strong understanding of the ways diverse learning needs can shape therapeutic work.

Through his own learning and work with Judith, Adam began developing visual games to help therapists and clients explore risk and support strategies with greater ease. His aim is to turn difficult personal learning into resources that may benefit others.

Our collaboration

Together, we are Diverse Therapy Games.

Judith and Adam have worked together since August 2022. As their shared understanding grew, they became increasingly aware of the need for visual, practical resources that support people with diverse learning needs. Risk River Journey, Building Blocks of Life and Safety Net grew from that collaboration.
